Who We Are
CARS stands for Concerned African Real Soldiers. We are an organization of community men who want to enhance the lives of young men who are at risk.

Our goal is to provide a male mentoring program for minority boys in our community to assist them in becoming productive members of society.

The CARS Mentoring Foundation was birth through the divine assignment given to Hiawatha Hill II in 2007 to start a mentoring program to mentor black male youth who don’t have a dad in the home. In 2008, with the help of 10 men mentors, the first monthly mentoring speaker meeting was started in October 2008.

Our speaker meetings have been ongoing monthly since October of 2008 and are currently held at the City Marietta Fire Museum. Participants who attend upcoming sessions will be exposed to an array of leadership and character-building activities. Some of these activities will be hands on, while others will be led by the speaker of the month. Also, outings such as professional sporting events have been scheduled for the mentors and mentees to attend.
